July 3, 2018: A section of a foot overbridge in Andheri West collapsed due to incessant rain, leaving five persons injured with two stated to be in a critical condition.

As per reports, a part of the bridge, which is on the southern end of Andheri station between platform numbers 7-8, crashed around 7.30 am, ripping off overhead wires which were left on the tracks.
Local trains on Western Suburban Line have been affected due to technical reasons between Andheri and Vile Parle.
