March 10, 2018: Three women and a gunman who held them hostage at a California veterans’ home were found dead on Friday evening local time, bringing a tragic end to an all-day siege at the sprawling facility as per reports.

Law enforcement had said they believed the suspect was armed with a rifle and was holding the hostages inside a room on the grounds.
The four people were found shortly before 6 p.m. local time inside a room at the Veterans Home of California in Yountville, United States where the hostages had been taken.
The gunman had slipped into an employee going-away party at the largest veterans’ home and took three people hostage on Friday morning in a shootout and standoff that kept the sprawling California grounds locked down for hours
The suspect was identified by Napa County Sheriff-Coroner's Office as Albert Wong, 36, from Sacramento. The county said in a statement that he was "formerly from the Pathway Home" at the veterans’ home. The Pathway Home is a privately run program that treats veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars with post-traumatic stress disorder.
The Pathway Home identified the three victims as Christine Loeber, the executive director; Dr. Jen Golick, a therapist; and Dr. Jennifer Gonzales, a psychologist with the San Francisco Department of Veterans Affairs Healthcare System.
