Babri Maszid demolition completes 25 years today

 25 years ago, on December 6, 1992 a religious violence shocked the entire world. Based on religious communalism the Babri Maszid, one of the largest mosques in the Uttar Pradesh state, which was built in 1528–29 CE (935 AH) by Mir Baqi, on orders of the Mughal emperor Babur was demolished by Hindu Nationalist groups which triggered riots all over India, leading to around 2,000 deaths..

This historic conflict event completes 25 years today, still awaiting justice on the part.

According to several media reports, the case which is being held by CBI is deliberately prolonging the criminal trial while the BJP does its best to use the Ayodhya dispute to once again stokes the flames of hatred.

25 years before, on this same day, the crime was commited in broad daylight, the crime which was recorded on video cameras on the leadership of top leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party – the party that today runs the government at the Centre – gathered in Ayodhya as part of a well-planned conspiracy to demolish the historic monument that was part of the cultural and archaeological heritage of the Indian people.

These leaders included L.K. Advani, who went on to become deputy prime minister, Uma Bharati, who is currently a cabinet minister in Narendra Modi’s government, and scores of other major and minor figures.
