Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar took part in State Government's cleanliness drive with UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath

 In a bid to promote his next film ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ which will be released on August 11, Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar was seen yesterday in the streets of Lucknow taking part in a cleanliness drive with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

The film is ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ is based on the Swachch Bharat Abhiyaan Mission initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

When the movie’s first trailer was out, PM Modi was seen praising the initiative and called the movie a commendable effort to promote cleanliness.

Akshay Kumar had said that he would love to hold a special screening for Modi.

According to a statement by CM Yogi Adityanath, he had earlier said that by December 2017, the government was aiming to declare 30 districts and by October 2018 the entire state of Uttar Pradesh open defecation-free.
