Posted on: 18-05-2017 , 04:45:PM | DY365 Bureau

Chevrolet by General Motors Co will stop selling cars in India from the end of this year as the sales haven't picked up in FY 2016-17.

The company sold just 25823 units in the last fiscal year and its market share has dropped below 1 per cent in India.

But the company will still be using India as an export hub and cars being made in India will be shipped out to Mexico and Central and South American markets.

Chevrolet has said that all existing car owners will get support from the service network which will continue in key cities and any valid warranty will be honoured while Chevrolet's 24/7roadside-assistance will also be continued.
