Nagaland to create 22 new Rural Development Blocks

Nagaland government has decided to create 22 new Rural Development Blocks by carving out and re-organising existing 52 Blocks.

A four-day programme on the 81st annual convention of Srimanta Sankardeva Sangha begins from Sunday at the Aai Kanaklata Khetra at Kaliabor in Nagaon district.
Re-polling in all the 34 polling stations in Manipur’s hill districts would be held on Saturday amidst tight security. All polling stations are being treated as hyper-sensitive and will be guarded by paramilitary forces.
