Chief Minister Press Meet on Kokrajhar communal violence

Close on the heels of BTAD communal violence between Bodo and Muslim minority communities, Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi said in a press meet, that those who are involved in this communal violence at Kokrajhar would be punished, he however completely denied any sort of Bangladeshi involvement behind this communal clash. Gogoi also announced worth 6 lakhs for those who lost their family members in this communal violence, 50,000 for critically injured and 10,000 for less injured as compensation. While answering the questions of Journalist, Gogoi accepted the unavailability of adequate security forces in the state and also assured for sufficient relief camps with better facilities in near future.
