Iranian President may visit London for Olympics

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Thursday that he may visit London for 2012 Olympics. Ahmadinejad said that he would like to be with Iranian athletes in London 2012 Olympic Games to encourage them, the official IRNA news agency reported on Thursday.

Pakistan may earn USD 365 million annually under an agreement with the United States, following the reopening of NATO supply routes for American troops in Afghanistan.The US is expected to pay Pakistan a fee of USD 1,500 to 1,800 for every truck carrying supplies through the country.

Sikh police officers in the American capital will be allowed to wear turbans, beards and other religious items while on the job.The new uniform policy announced by Washington DC police Chief Cathy Lanier on Wednesday makes it the first major metropolitan police department in the US to permit Sikhs to maintain their articles of faith.
