‘Melody for Peace- a tribute to 30/10 blast victim’

The unfateful day of 30 October, 2008, symbolized as the 'Black Day' in the history of Assam, saw the killings of many innocent citizens of the state in the serial bomb blasts. DY 365 has come up with ‘Melody for Peace-a tribute to 30/10 blast victim’, a day long programme aimed at paying homage to the parted souls, on 30 October, 2010.Some renouned singers of Assam would pay their tribute by their performances to those killed. A special exhibition of poetry and photographs has also been planned for the day in which many notable poets and painters would take part.Families of the people killed in the blasts will also be a part of ‘Melody for Peace’. The programme is aimed to offer courage and hope to those who lost their dear ones in the tear-jerking serial blasts. DY 365 will telecast the programme LIVE. DY 365 expects the esteemed co-operation of the people of Assam on this day to make the programme successful.
