Things you would need to go about making the Mango Kalakand:
3 cups of fresh
mango pulp
½ can of sweetened
condensed milk
500gm fresh unsalted
paneer grated
1 cup skimmed milk
1 tbsp milk powder
2 tsp cardamom
powder
1 cup of chopped
pistachios
1 silver varq for
garnishing
How to go about making the yummy Mango Kalakand:
In a non stick pan add the grated paneer and condensed milk.
Stir continuously and keep it is low heat. When the mixture turns thick add
mango pulp and stir in so that it is mixed well.If the mixture is tough to stir add on the
milk now. Then add the cardamom powder. Cover the lid and let it simmer till it
turns real thick mixture.
Now, pour the mixture in deep pan or 2 inch tray.
Garnish with chopped pistachios and let it cool down. Now
place the silver varq carefully on the whole spread and cut in bite size pieces.
Finally your hard work pays off you can enjoy this unconventional
sweet with your family and friends.
