Tur dal kofta
Ingredients: 2 cups tur dal, 6-7 green chilles, chopped, 3 tsp cumin seeds, 1 pinch asafetida, Salt to taste, 3 tsp finely chopped corriander leaves, 3-4 tsp grated coconut
Procedure: Soak tur dal over night, wash it thoroughly and then grind it coarsely.
After grinding, add chopped chillies, coriander leaves, grated coconut, cumin
seeds, asafoetida & salt. Blend the mixture thoroughly. Then make small koftas (balls) with the mixture pressure and cook for 15 min. After it’s fully cooked, serve hot with rice dishes.
